BGJWC is connecting residents in Baltimore affected by the adverse effects of climate change with residents in Dar Es Salaam who are also affected by the adverse effects of climate change for cultural exchange, resource sharing and solution-based networking.

In 2024, Amber & Isis will facilitate a series of ZOOM discussions that help to build a bridge from Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) to Baltimore, MD.  Amber will also work with other BGJWC staff to build relationships with key community partners in Dar Es Salaam and Baltimore to host a cultural exchange in 2025 where a delegation of residents from Baltimore visit Dar Es Salaam and a delegation of residents from Dar Es Salam visit Baltimore.
